International Secure Systems Development Conference 2011
Following on from a successful event last year, the 2nd International Secure Systems Development Conference is being held in London on the 18th and 19th May 2011
With three tracks (management, technical and SCADA/embedded systems), across two full days, six key note sessions, a building security in breakfast for early risers and four panel sessions, it looks like it will be a busy couple of days.
The conference has the tag line "Dealing with Tomorrow's Threats Today - by Designing Security In", but I think the detailed programme gives a better feel for what's on. The sessions which particularly caught my eye were:
- Management
- Setting up a Governance Programme for Secure Development
- Developing Attack Intelligence
- Outsourcing Secure Application Development
- Threat modelling Trust Models
- COTS Software Assurance Schemes
- Technical
- Can Secure Coding be Agile Development?
- Analysing Legacy Software
- Architecting for Secure Patching
- Virtualizing Development
- SCADA/embedded systems
- Integrity in Safety Critical Projects
- Configuration Management Interfaces – problems and solutions
- Virtualizing Embedded Devices
- Using Cloud Services for Embedded Development
Places can be booked online. There is an early bird booking discount, but I also have a small number of special extra discount codes which will give you another £200 off, giving a £300 discount in total — you must book before 18th March 2011. Please use the Clerkendweller enquiry form to contact me if you would like one of these discount codes.
