SAMM Roadmap Charts

The roadmap charts in the Software Assurance Maturity Model (SAMM) provide a great way to highlight how an organisation plans to improve its software security practices across a number of stages once an initial assessment has been undertaken.

In a three-part post on the OpenSAMM blog, I describe how charts, identical to the ones in the documentation, can be created using XML data and Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG). Part 1 was published today and will be followed by Parts 2 and 3 on Monday and Tuesday.
